Helena is a permanent Mapping Sculpture inspired by the sea, the coast of Sitges and Nature as order imposed over chaos.
We have been asked to use the sh cast designed by La Granja, as a creative collaboration.
In the daytime, while the projection is idle, the beauty of the raw sculpture takes place. During evening the digital landscape is brought to life through Mapping projections, fishes are spatially mapped by virtual programs on which the shapes are re-drawn so as to animate them and generate optical illusions.
This feature creates an element which is both a permanent addition to the space and a piece which evolves through time.
